Business Analyst

We are pleased to be partnering with a train operating company who are looking for a Business Analyst to join them on a 12 month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension.

Reporting to the Head of Service Planning, in this role, you will be supporting the selection and implementation of a new software package for the timetable and resource planning team. Key responsibilities will include the mapping and documenting of the "as is" and developing "to be" processes, engaging with a variety of stakeholders and mapping the interfaces and data transfers between different departments.

Key Requirements

• 2+ years' experience working as a Business Analyst
• Experience working on a software/system procurement (highly desirable)
• Knowledge of the Rail sector (desirable)
• A self-starter with strong communication skills at all levels
• Methodical and organised

This is a 12 month fixed-term contract position. This is a hybrid role with days onsite varying throughout the project up to 4 days per week, with an expectation to visit offices within the North of England.
