Day Rate: 370 - 400 per day

PSR Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a Civil Engineering Tier 1 Main Contractor who are looking to employ an experienced Site Agent on a Freelance basis.

The contractor has several schemes in the Northern region, working predominantly on Yorkshire Water Framework projects. Typical project values completed by the contractor range from 30m - 120m.

As Site Agent you would report into a Project and Contracts Manager.

Role and duties:

• ITP's (inspection & test plan)
• Supervision of trades/ delivery teams
• Planning work packs and method statement/risk assessments for all work involved
• Chairing meetings, managing sub-contractors.
• Chairing stakeholder reviews. Mentoring team and ensuring training is kept up to date
• Attending planning and workshop
• Driving programme at a site level.
• Quantifying material and ordering through the procurement system
• Keeping accurate QA records on site progress.
• Reporting to weekly progress to Construction Manager and planning team.
• Working with the commercial team to build the scheme within budget

Experience/Qualifications:

• CSCS Card
• SSSTS / SMSTS
• HNC/HND or Equivalent
• Prior use of Microsoft Office Packages
• Use of AutoCAD
