Landscaper/Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced landscaper manage a team and to aid in the construction, and installation of our landscaping designs. As a landscaper, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and functional outdoor spaces, meeting the needs and requirements of our clients. You will also be responsible for the running of a site, and the oversite of those on your team. The ideal candidate should be able to interpret and follow technical plans accurately, and work within a team of people. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating beautiful and functional outdoor spaces and ideally have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work. Responsibilities

Build hardscapes such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.

Soft landscaping such as Turfing and tree installation.

Operate and equipment such as excavators and dumpers.

Supervision of deliveries

Staff management and supervision

Additional duties

Health and safety site management (PPE)

Site management - tools, tidiness, positive staff motivation & supervision

Tools - equipment operated/maintained correctly & safely stored

Stock inventory - tools and materials check sheets completed

Positive client management

Requirements

Proven experience as a landscaper, with a portfolio of work samples

Knowledge of construction and landscape design

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to read and interpret project plans and designs

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Physical stamina and strength

Knowledge of working safely

Salary

The salary for this position is 30,000 - 40,000 per annum or more, depending on experience.
