We are looking for an Azure Cloud Platform Architect who has a passion for the design and implementation of an enterprise grade Cloud strategy across an interesting and complex technology landscape. This is an excellent career defining opportunity to help design a common Cloud platform and operating model that will enable us to pivot to Cloud and revolutionise the way we deliver solutions to our customers and colleagues.

How you'll make a difference

Working closely with other Architects across Infrastructure, alongside our Security and DevOps Engineers you will play a major role that will enable us to build and implement our new cloud platform. Within this role you will be able to combine architectural design with hands on proof of concept / Deployment support, an opportunity to get your hands dirty. 

What you'll bring to the role:

1. Significant experience of designing and executing technical change within public cloud environments within Azure
2. Relevant Azure Cloud architectural experience
3. A strong knowledge of cloud security, governance and compliance.
4. A solid experience of working with agile methodologies (such as Scrum or Kanban) and DevOps tools (such as PowerShell, Git, Terraform, etc.).
5. Power Platform experience an advantage but not essential
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
7. A relevant certification or qualification in cloud architecture or integration (such as TOGAF, Implementing Azure Infrastructure solutions, Azure Integration Architect).
