Year 2 Teacher

A large 2 form school in South Leeds is currently recruiting for a year 2 teacher to join their team- the position will be commencing January 2025, until the end of the academic year with a possibility of a direct contract at the end. Applications will be considered by motivated and enthusiastic ECTs as well as experienced teachers.

The school is looking for a dedicated KS1 teacher ideally with SATs experience.

CPD is provided throughout as the SLT in this school are very supportive.

The ideal teacher will have the ability to make differentiated lessons creative and engaging for all abilities; they will also have the following:

Educated to degree level and QTS
A high passion for teaching and working with children who have excellent expectations for attainment and behaviour
Self-motivated and determined to do well
Year 2 Sats experience
Secure understanding of differentiation to challenge children of all abilities
