Network Engineer, Financial Services, Leeds

• Up to £44,000 per annum
• 6 months Fixed Term Contract
• Hybrid working - 2 days in the Leeds office

Fruition IT have partnered with this financial services business for a number of year. Due to a number of live projects, they're looking to hire an experienced Network Engineer to support the IT team with day to day operation support!

Responsibilities

The role will be responsible for providing Network, Firewall, Telephony and general infrastructure support during the period of the contract. You will need to be:

• A subject matter expert in IT Networking, Security and Telephony.
• Proactive monitoring and management of the network LAN, WAN and Wireless environment to ensure maximum uptime.
• Proactive monitoring and management of the telephony platform to ensure maximum uptime.

Requirements

You will be required to have significant experience as a Network Engineer, who can demonstrate the following technical skills. You will have

• Managed network systems in a LAN and WAN environment.
• Managed Wireless access points, switches and routers.
• Experience creating network designs.
• Experience with Checkpoint Harmony SASE solution (formerly Quantum SASE).
• Experience with Checkpoint, FortiGate Firewalls
• Experience with cloud based 8x8 telephony platform.
• Experience troubleshooting VOIP issues.
• Experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS Certificates

This role paying up to £44,000pa, it is based in central Leeds. The company has a 2 days in the office per week policy!
