This role is responsible for accounting tasks and financial management, as well as providing accurate financial information to support decision-making processes.

Description

Reporting to the Financial Director, as a Management Accountant you will be responsible for;

  • Support the business commercial and marketing teams from a finance Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Monthly closing process - coordinate with Shared service teams and also deliver activities to ensure results are accurate and explainable
  • Manage weekly forecasting process on behalf of business liaising with individual stakeholders to ensure changes are reflected appropriately.
  • Administer / manager capital approval process on behalf of business
  • Review / Develop accrual and prepayment processes for retail stores outlet (eg.utilities,rent,.rates)
  • Provide strong variance analysis of P&L and work closely with business leaders to ensure the business results reflect in the financial statements
  • Involved in Audits through year including (SOX) and possible attendance at annual stocktakes

Profile

  • Finalist or QBE Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or relevant finance degree.
  • Proven experience in management accounting, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to work.
