We are looking for an Accounts Assitant to work for an established business in Leeds (LS12)
This can be on a part tme or full time basis
The role will report to the Finance Director
On offer is a salary of 27-30k depending on experience
General Accounts assistant
Main requirements
- Support to the Finance Director and finance team in the preparation of the monthly management accounts and the annual statutory accounts.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations - especially in respect of Work in Progress and Stock.
- Assist in the raising of sales invoices.
- Analysis of sales & customer rebates.
- Analysis of key items of manufacturing & distribution expenditure v budget and prior periods. Ensure the operational teams understand this and can identify potential savings.
- Holiday cover for the Credit control.
Experience required
- 2-3 years credit control knowledge.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience with ERP systems
