They are seeking an experienced M&E Manager to join the team to oversee the mechanical and electrical services on their high-rise projects.

Job Summary:

They are looking for a skilled and motivated M&E Manager to lead the team in the planning, design, and installation of mechanical and electrical services on their high-rise projects. As an M&E Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the projects are completed to the highest standards, meeting client expectations, and maintaining their reputation for quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Manage the planning, design, and installation of M&E services on high-rise projects from concept to completion
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for M&E services
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements
Ensure that all M&E systems are designed and installed to meet relevant building regulations and industry standards
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with the project team to ensure that M&E services are integrated with other building systems
Manage and supervise a team of engineers and technicians on site
Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that work meets company standards
Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are met
Manage and control project costs, ensuring that budgets are met or exceeded

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field - Not essential
Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E management on high-rise projects
Strong knowledge of building services engineering principles and regulations (e.g., CIBSE, BS EN 806-1)
Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work at heights and confined spaces (PPE provided)
Valid CSCS card or equivalent
Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., CEng, MIET)
