THE ROLE

As part of our growth plans, we are looking for an ambitious and results-oriented Sales Development Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will drive sales through generating leads and initiating relationships with clients. They will work closely with our Business Development Manager to identify and qualify prospects and ensure their activities are aligned to the sales strategy.


RESPONSIBILTIES

Prospecting

  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients and key decision-makers within target companies.
  • Use various channels (email, phone, social media) to reach out to prospects and generate interest in the range of Abstract’s services.


Lead Qualification

  • Engage in meaningful conversations with prospects to understand their business needs and pain points.
  • Evaluate leads based on predefined criteria and qualify them for further engagement by other stakeholders in the business.
  • Identify which of Abstract’s service lines may be of interest to the prospect.


Collaboration with Sales Team

  • Work closely with the wider team to transfer qualified leads and provide comprehensive background information for a seamless transition.
  • Participate in regular meetings to align on strategies, share insights, and optimize the lead generation process.
  • Support the team with preparation for sales meetings, including profiling of attendees and company research.


Communication and Relationship Building

  • Articulate the value proposition of our services and solutions to prospects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients through effective communication and follow-up.


Metrics and Reporting

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead conversion rates, outreach effectiveness, and other relevant metrics.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize outreach strategies and improve overall performance.
  • Track the progress of leads on our CRM (HubSpot).



REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPEREICNE

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Experience operating within the IT services sector would be advantageous.
  • Experience in a sales or lead generation role would be desirable.
