Position Overview:


As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing client relationships, overseeing the development and execution of shopper marketing strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality campaigns that drive consumer engagement and sales. You will be the main point of contact for clients, leading cross-functional teams and guiding the creative process from concept to completion. Your experience in shopper marketing and your ability to understand consumer behavior will be crucial in developing insights-driven campaigns that exceed client expectations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the primary liaison between the agency and key clients, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships.
  • Lead the development and execution of shopper marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Manage day-to-day account operations, including project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, strategy, and analytics, to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide strategic recommendations to optimise campaign effectiveness.
  • Present campaign strategies, progress reports, and results to clients, demonstrating the value of our work and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to inform strategic planning and client recommendations.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in account management within a shopper marketing, advertising, or marketing agency environment.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple client accounts and delivering successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of shopper marketing principles, consumer behavior, and retail environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
