Job Description:
As the Handyperson Supervisor, you will oversee a small team of handypersons, ensuring that all minor maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. You will be responsible for scheduling work, training staff, and managing day-to-day operations while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the handyperson team.
- Assign tasks based on team strengths and workload.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to safety protocols.
- Train and mentor team members in various maintenance and repair techniques.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with management to develop work schedules and project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or construction.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of handyperson tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
