Handyperson Supervisor

I am currently working with our client who works within the Social Housig sector they are looking for a skilled Handyperson Supervisor to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:
As the Handyperson Supervisor, you will oversee a small team of handypersons, ensuring that all minor maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. You will be responsible for scheduling work, training staff, and managing day-to-day operations while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the handyperson team.
• Assign tasks based on team strengths and workload.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to safety protocols.
• Train and mentor team members in various maintenance and repair techniques.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with management to develop work schedules and project timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or construction.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of handyperson tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
