Tool Hire Assistant

Jewson a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Tool Hire Assistant who's as passionate about great service as we are.

Drivers license is a requirement for this role

Hours - 7.30 - 5.00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8-12

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery and collection of tools, Plant and equipment using a 3.5t vehicle + Trailer, Demonstrating to customers through how to use them on site

• Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of our tool hire equipment in the workshop

• Assisting with increasing sales within the tool hire department

• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs, and providing advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible

• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise tool hire delivery and collection, keeping customers updated throughout their journey

• Working according to Health & Safety compliance

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous industry experience preferred but not essential

• Stellar communication and people skills

• Customer focussed individual

• Full driving licence, held for a minimum of 1 year (manual transmission)
