We are seeking a highly skilled Product Analytics and Governance Lead to join our dynamic team. This is a critical leadership role aimed at optimizing product performance, enhancing data-driven decision-making, and ensuring compliance with governance standards.
They own the annual review plan, the creation and maintenance of the product register and annual review dashboard. The role is also responsible for the submission of change and proposition forms into the product governance team and the maintenance and tracking of the process – this includes our schemes and e trade teams. You will be responsible for the compilation and analysis of the annual reviews of each of our core lines of business, including open market products and schemes.
This role will include responsibility for the end-to end creation, analysis, action tracking and sign off of each product. You will review the performance of the product against the expected performance, including financial performance, conduct considerations, target market and distribution strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive product analytics strategies to assess performance, user engagement, and key metrics.
- Analyze product data to provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive product enhancements and innovation.
- Lead the design and implementation of dashboards and reporting systems to track KPIs, ROI, and overall product success.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and development teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Data Governance:
- Lead the establishment and management of data governance policies, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure product data quality, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Develop and maintain a product data governance framework, covering data ownership, security, privacy, and lifecycle management.
- Regularly audit and monitor product data to identify and rectify potential governance issues.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, legal, and compliance to ensure governance policies are applied consistently.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic input on data-related risks and opportunities, contributing to long-term product strategies.
- Act as a subject matter expert for product analytics and governance, advising stakeholders on best practices and industry trends.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of analysts and data specialists, fostering a culture of data excellence and continuous improvement.
- Provide training and development opportunities to ensure the team stays updated with evolving governance frameworks and analytical tools.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization in product data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Stay abreast of industry developments in analytics tools, techniques, and governance policies to continuously enhance capabilities.
- Lead initiatives that enhance data literacy and analytics capabilities across the organization.
