The Business Development Manager (Fire Projects) will work within an established sales team, focusing primarily on Fire Detection, Suppression, and other related Fire and Security Systems.
Salary: £65-75k OTE
Location: North West
Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
- Identify and generate project opportunities, conducting surveys, preparing quotes, and closing sales for fire systems, including fire detection, alarm systems, and suppression solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring business growth and long-term resilience across key sectors.
- Secure orders and meet sales targets for fire-related projects, with a focus on new business development and key account expansion.
- Conduct site surveys to gather necessary information for creating accurate fire system maintenance quotations.
Required Skills for Business Development Manager (Fire Projects):
- In-depth knowledge of fire detection and alarm systems,
- Excellent written, verbal, and numerical abilities.
- Exceptional organisational abilities.
- Great presentation and negotiation skills.
Competencies:
- FIA (or recognized) certification in fire detection and alarm systems.
- Structured sales training or relevant sales experience.
- Two to five years of experience in the fire and security industry, ideally in a customer-facing or technical sales role.
