Group SHE Assurance Manager (Internal Auditor)

We are working with a leading plc on a new opportunity for a dedicated Group SHE Assurance Manager to develop and implement industry leading internal audit processes. As Group SHE Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing that our client's operational activities comply with statutory provisions and recognised best practices, across multiple sites.

Reporting to the Group Head of SHE, you'll provide critical assurance to the PLC Main Board around operational excellence and the upholding of exemplary SHE standards. You will have the freedom to develop and implement an internal audit process to ensure compliance with all SHE regulatory requirements. Your detailed knowledge of HSE legislation will inform the periodic review of SHE risks across the Group, addressing compliance deficiencies, changes and developments to ensure the highest standards are upheld. With strong communication skills, you will produce and deliver high-quality reports for the board, giving accurate and balanced accounts to all stakeholders and building confidence in the wider compliance of the plc. Additionally, you'll work collaboratively with business units to create improvement plans and support operational areas to address any weaknesses. Holding a NEBOSH certificate, your active role within the SHE Managers Forum will allow you to capture and implement SHE best practices, drawing upon your internal auditor training.
