Propsource Consulting are working with a well-known worldwide multi-disciplinary consultancy who are currently seeking a Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyor to join the team in their Manchester or Leeds office.
Working closely alongside directors and other team members, you will be providing professional advice to clients across a range of multi-discipline commercial projects.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will lead on the following:
- Managing tasks and deliverables alongside the client and wider project teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the projects
- Administering a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives
- Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget
- Pro-actively monitoring and managing cost variance and contract cash flow and ensuring that applications are made correctly and in a timely manner
- Collaborating with teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPI's and objectives including programme performance, cost control and value engineering
- Ensuring all final accounts are negotiated and agreed
- Ensuring projects comply with applicable statutory and regulatory legislation
- Risk management
- Ensuring projects are delivered to agreed quality standards ensuring high levels of satisfaction
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- MRICS desired but not essential
- Previous consultancy Quantity Surveying experience
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
- Can come from a Project Management or Quantity Surveying background
- Strong leadership and commercial skills
