Location: Leeds, UK Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Project Management

We are looking for an experienced technology project manager to join our Integration team. You will oversee all aspects of integration of new business partners ensuring on-time and in-scope delivery. You'll need to have demonstrable project management experience in integration, agile delivery, new innovation delivery and/ or business change/readiness.


Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, with both internal and external stakeholders to manage. You will support business partners to integrate with our Protect Plus platform placing Protect Group products in their booking flows, as well as managing our integrations with 3rd party providers and suppliers and working with technical and non technical colleagues internally. 


We are a global business working across a variety of industries, you will need strong communications skills and the ability to flex your approach for different markets and industries.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive multiple concurrent integration project schedules, prioritising tasks, reporting on critical gaps, and assessing and mitigating risks.
  • Scope project requirements, identifying the impact of non-standard/new business requirements, product enhancement and upgrades. 
  • Deliver projects on time ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Ensure all project documentation is in place, up to date and accessible to stakeholders;  project plans, including risk logs and requirement specifications
  • Manage cross-functional teams of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Clearly articulate and communicate technical concerns/ requirements to non-technical colleagues.
  • Identify and highlight potential risks, putting mitigation plans in place and act proactively to resolve issues when they occur. 
  • Deliver projects on time ensuring quality standards are met
  • Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new projects


Requirements and skills:

  • Experience leading integration projects supporting partners throughout the project delivery.
  • Confident in leading multiple integrations concurrently, through all stages of a project lifecycle.
  • Capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders to drive the necessary changes to ensure the integration supports optimal functionality and performance.
  • Ability to monitor and report on project progress and ensure adherence to project plans, manage changes to the project scope, schedule and project costs using appropriate governance, manage project documentation ensuring proper documentation control


Beneficial Skills and Experience:

  • Prince 2 or equivalent qualification, 
  • Experience of working in Agile delivery 
  • Experience of API management platforms and tools (e.g., Apigee, Postman).
  • Previous experience in Financial Services/Fintech
