MasterSearch are currently working with a global leader in Flame and Gas detection systems who are active in a variety of industries. Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Manager with the passion to promote and help grow the flame and gas detection portfolio across the UK, by managing partners and building relationships with vital customers directly. Location – Remote in UK Reporting line – Sales director EMEA Main Responsibilities; Develop an in-depth knowledge of the gas and flame detection product portfolio via successful completion of required sales and technical training program and utilize this knowledge to promote the products to new and existing customers in UK and Ireland area. Builds strong business relationships with partners in UK and Ireland. Manage and assess the performance of existing distributors. Identify and target new distribution partners for fixed gas and flame detection in the region. Responsible for achieving agreed sales targets for the region by identifying sales opportunities in new and existing markets to meet business growth objectives. Identify key end user accounts in the territory and implement sales plan to promote the company’s portfolio and open new direct markets. Identify key Engineering companies based in UK and Ireland (even if they worked outside of this area) and promote actively the company’s portfolio. Meet regularly with existing customers and distributors and prospects in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs. Attend sales meetings and exhibitions in UK and Europe as part of the EMEA Sales team. Conduct sales presentations, customer training and seminars. Daily use of our CRM, ERP and other IT tools (in order to provide customer information, forecasts and reports). Work closely with the UK based company GMI to follow and develop direct sales coming from their field service database. Work effectively with other internal departments: Marketing, Inside Sales & Customer Service, Field Service, Product Management, and Application Engineering. Attend conferences and professional association meetings and promote the group product solutions and brands. Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information. Profile; Good knowledge of Flame or Gas detection systems Strong sales and distributor management skills, EPC and end users knowledge Ability to spot gaps in market and find new customers Be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and maintain focus on working to the company’s values, strategies and objectives Proven experience in growing sales regions Languages; Fluent in English Please send your application to Rhys Masterson on: [email protected] or call +44 207 101 9623.
