CNC 5-axis programmer, setter, operator

We have a position available for an experienced 5-axis programmer/setter/operator.

Galtec is a precision engineering business located in Bramley, Hampshire. We specialise in manufacturing high end CNC machined components to many industries including Motorsport/F1, Aerospace, Medical, Oil and Gas. We have continually invested in our machinery and our staff to become the preferred supplier to our clients.

We have an enviable reputation in the industry and are looking for the right candidate to join our highly skilled, dedicated team. You will need the following attributes: -

• Programming, setting and operating 5-axis machining centres with Heidenhain controls.
• Offline programming experience with Hypermill, Edgecam or Vero.
• Enjoy the challenge of devising manufacturing techniques on new projects.
• Working to tight tolerances and timescales.

We offer a basic 40-hour week with flexi-time to enable a half day on Friday.

Regular overtime is available.

The successful candidate will be required to: -

• Be flexible with tasks. A ‘can do’ attitude.
• Be comfortable running more than 1 machine when required.
• Have experience machining a wide range of materials.
• Be a team player.
• Have a positive approach and good communication skills.
• Have at least 5 years’ experience.
