About our Nursery

The warm and friendly team at Busy Bees Day Nursery and preschool at Glasgow Kelvin look forward to welcoming a new Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, assisting them in giving our children the best start in life.

Our Centre is located within Maryhill, which is 10 minutes outside Glasgow City Centre. Glasgow Kelvin is a bright, warm, welcoming Centre, set within West of Scotland Science Park. We have 4 large, bright, stimulating playrooms for children, with 3 of them having direct access to an outdoor space. We are also lucky enough to have access to large open countryside, which is very easily accessible from the Centre.

What to expect as a Nursery Practitioner 

• As a keyworker, you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs. 
• Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
• Ensure we encourage and praise children’s development and achievements.
• And most of all…have FUN! 

To apply for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification and have previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse
