Electrical Project Manager

Morgan King Construction is seeking an experienced and dynamic Electrical Project Manager to join our client in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with strong leadership skills to oversee and deliver large-scale electrical projects across commercial and industrial sectors.

Job Overview: As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget. You will collaborate with a team of skilled electricians, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality standards and regulatory compliance across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of electrical project planning, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline development.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure clear communication and expectations.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Oversee the installation, wiring, and commissioning of electrical systems in line with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
• Prepare project reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead and motivate the project team, providing technical support and problem-solving assistance as required.
• Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and up-to-date.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager in the construction or electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and relevant regulations (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or project management.
• Valid JIB Gold Card and Asbestos Awareness certification.
• Familiarity with health and safety practices on commercial sites.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
