However, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days). Our promise to you- Competitive salary- 25 days annual leave (full-time working) plus Bank Holidays- Pension scheme- Life insurance- Discretionary bonus scheme- On the job training and progression- Recognition scheme- Refer a friend- Flexible benefits including high street savings, cycle to work scheme and Gymflex membership, holiday purchase and many more- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the Best Doctors Service via our Wellbeing PlatformWhat will you be doing?- To assist the Waste Treatment Division (WTD) Commercial Team with the technical assessment of enquiries, the preparation of transportation documentation, the collation of data for site records and the preparation of data for invoicing- To ensure that technical control activities of the sales enquiry process are carried out and conform to legal requirements and good practice- To accurately interpret waste data to determine composition and identify safe handling, disposal requirements and correct classification- To gather information from waste producers and customers to make valid judgements on waste composition and our ability to accept and process safely and profitably- To negotiate disposal prices with customers to meet business plans- To ensure that the assessment of sales enquiries are accurate and timely- To ensure that the production of invoicing and other data to monitor sales progress is accurate and timelyWhat are we looking for?- At a minimum, a HND in Chemistry or related subject- Hazardous Waste treatment industry or chemical industry experience would be beneficial to your application- Be able to problem-solve using your own initiative and make use of chemical hazard and properties information to determine the safe handling and disposal methods for chemicals- Be able to work both as part of a small team under supervision and work alone, including self-managing the workloadAbout UsWe are FCC Environment, one of the nation's leading waste and resource management companies.
