Press Brake Operator

Job description
Red Rock Partnership Limited are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Leeds who specialise in the manufacture of sheet metal components and fabrications. They are now looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join their team. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the press brake machine to bend sheet metal into various shapes/sizes as per specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate the press brake machine to manufacture tools, equipment and other components from sheet metal or metal plates, measuring and aligning materials while doing so.
- Prepare, set up and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
- Inspect finished pieces for quality and accuracy.
- Ensure that sufficient raw materials are available.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet manufacturing deadlines.

About you:
- Experience in operating an Edwards Pearson or equivalent press brake machine.
- Proficiency in sheet metal bending techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machine issues.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
- Capability to fabricate parts using tooling as required.

Hours & Pay:

The role is Monday to Thursday 7am to 3:30pm and Friday 7am to 2:30pm. Dinner will be 30 minutes unpaid break (39 hours pew week).

The salary is 13 - 14 per hour based on experience. (Annual salary 26,364 - 28,392).
