MEICA Site Agent

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced MEICA / M&E Site Agent on behalf of a thriving civil engineering main contractor to work on projects across Yorkshire.

This national main contractor are a well-known name in the industry with a strong reputation for quality across all divisions. They are a key delivery partner for Yorkshire Water AMP 7 and this role falls within this workstream. They have a number of water projects starting across West & South Yorkshire. This role is based on an ever-growing project based near Leeds - with additional works & phases coming constantly from the client.

Initial project: 15m+: Installation of a digester on a Waste Water Treatment Works. This role will involve parameters including ATEX - working in explosive risk environments. Project running for 2+ years with further work. Delivering project as PC.

Projects: Water infrastructure: mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, automation. Predominantly focused on M&E aspects of the role alongside Civils - civils managed on site by Civils Site Agent.

Duties as Site Agent:

• Manage M&E site team and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines
• Undertaking daily site paperwork
• Progress meetings with senior management team & Yorkshire Water
• Managing site including specialist sub-contractors to ensure quality and H&S standards are delivered
• Ordering materials & plant
• Work alongside Civils Site Agent & Project Management team on site
• Promoting sustainable solutions for projects
• Provide reports - costs, budgets, progress etc.

Experience Required as Site Agent:

• Must have experience as Site Agent / Site Manager on Mechanical or Electrical schemes for Yorkshire Water or a similar client.
• Must have experience delivering specialist MEICA work
• Must hold: CSCS (or equivalent), First Aid and full driving license.

Remuneration:

On offer is a salary of up to 65,000 (dependant on experience) plus
Company vehicle or allowance, fuel card, annual leave, healthcare, pension scheme and other benefits.
