Cyber Security Analyst - £55,000-£70,000 - Leeds (2 Days WFH)

As we expand, we're looking for a skilled Security Analyst with strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, Office 365 security, Cyber Essentials, and ISO27001 to help us protect and secure our digital assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage security measures across Microsoft technologies, with a focus on Office 365 security best practices.
- Lead and support Cyber Essentials certification efforts, ensuring ongoing compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of our Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with ISO27001 standards.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and implement security controls that integrate seamlessly with our existing infrastructure.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents, responding swiftly to mitigate threats and minimize impact.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on best practices for maintaining a secure environment, with a particular focus on Microsoft technologies and ISO27001 compliance.
About You:
- Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, particularly Office 365 security, including configuration, management, and threat detection.
- Proven track record in achieving and maintaining Cyber Essentials certification.
- Solid understanding of ISO27001 standards and experience in managing ISMS frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 Lead Implementer, Microsoft Security certifications) are desirable.
