Overview

Leeds United Football Club (LUFC) is seeking a Partnerships Coordinator to join the club’s partnership team. This is an opportunity for a detail-oriented, hard-working, and organized individual to support the commercial partnerships of the club and contribute to the success of one of the region’s most beloved sports teams.

The Partnership Coordinator will provide support on key accounts across the Club’s partnership program. The successful candidate will facilitate the delivery of contractual obligations, whilst working closely with other club departments to ensure efficient and effective lines of communication between partners and the Club. The successful candidate will be based at Elland Road and will serve on the partnerships team. The Partnerships Coordinator will report to the Partner Activation Account Lead. This is a full-time position.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with key partner personnel and supporting agencies
  • Fulfill partner requests for tickets, merchandise, and other items in line with contractual obligations
  • Collate schedules and ensure accuracy of playlists for partner match day branding across the Club’s LED system, big screen, and any other digital inventory
  • Service all governing body commercial rights throughout each season including those required by the Premier League, EFL & FA both during and outside of match-days
  • Support brand management and IP protection across partner assets and marketing material
  • Support in the development of mid-season and end of season reports for partners
  • Liaise with different departments to ensure efficient and effective delivery of partner rights and activations
  • Lead the delivery of partner match day activations
  • Assist with the organization, management and delivery of key Club events throughout the year to engage partners
  • Create annual end of season partnerships recap that assist in the valuation of each partnership which includes a thorough understanding of each partner’s rights, objectives, and relationship with the club
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years in account management and sponsorship rights delivery, ideally within the sports industry
  • An undergraduate degree in a business-related subject (or another relevant subject) is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
  • Experience building excellent working relationships and dealing with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Experience of supporting and coordinating activations and events
  • Great people person and a proven team player with strong communication skills
  • Flexible approach to working hours there will be a requirement to work weekends/evenings to attend matches and events.

Hours of Work

  • 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm mainly)
  • Must be flexible to work matchdays
